Wait Upon The Lord

During our daily lives, sometimes regardless of our age, we become weary! We encounter various stresses, pressures and problems. Life becomes hard going. At times we might feel it is so hard that we don't know where to turn; or does anyone really understand? We might be young or we might be old, but the feelings are the same! It is in times like these that we need to trust, and, WAIT UPON THE LORD!

We read in The Holy Scriptures, a great promise from God, "He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that WAIT UPON THE LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:29-31.

How wonderful is our Lord! Even if you fear and life is getting you down so much, He says, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isaiah 41:10.

What a wonderful promise, and here is yet another one, "For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee." Isaiah 41:13. When we are feeling down, and low, look up...and WAIT UPON THE LORD!
