Mr and Mrs Jones lived with their family Judy and Roy, in a small bay, in England. They loved living near the sea. The people that lived in the bay were all very friendly.

One day the Jones family decided to go out for a trip, in their boat. Mrs Jones prepared all the food, and Mr Jones prepared their boat. Judy and Roy just got excited!! It started to come over very cloudy. " It looks as if it is going to rain", said Mrs Jones. "Don't worry, it will pass over", said Mr Jones. But it started to get a bit windy too! "The boat is ready, are you all ready too", said Mr Jones. The Children didn't feel very happy about the weather, neither did Mrs Jones!

Soon they were on their way, the sails blowing in the wind, which seemed to be getting stronger by the minute, as they went out more into the open sea. The sea was certainly getting rough. "Can't we turn back", said the children, "I think we should", said Mrs Jones. For the first time, Mr Jones looked concerned. The water was lapping over the side of the boat. Then they saw another boat coming towards them, getting closer and closer! "Hi there, you shouldn't be out here, with this rough sea". It was Jim, Mr Jones' friend. He could hardly get near them, because of the weather conditions. Mr Jones was feeling weary battling against the wind, rain, and sea. "I am trying to turn around, and head back home Jim", said Mr Jones. "Follow me", said Jim "We shouldn't have to face problems alone, I will get you all back home safe". Mrs Jones, and the children were relieved!!!

They arrived back home safe, but very tired and weary! This story reminds me, concerning all of life's problems. Do you need someone to help you? The Gospel Invitation from JESUS is "COME UNTO ME". "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." St Matthew 11: 28-30.
