If we are BORN AGAIN, and have a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ, then we should walk by FAITH. We read in God's word, "For we walk by faith [we regulate our lives and conduct ourselves by our conviction or belief respecting man's relationship to God and divine things, with trust and holy fervor; thus we walk] not by sight or appearance." 2 Corinthians 5:7 (AMP).

FAITH is a divine gift from God, it has nothing to do with how we feel from day to day, but by his grace alone are we saved!

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith -and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God -not by works, so that no-one can boast." Ephesians 2: 8-9 (NIV).

As we walk daily with JESUS, our thoughts and feelings will vary all of the time! One day we might FEEL close to God, another day we might FEEL away from God, but our feelings or our thoughts, did not save us or indeed can ever save us, only JESUS CHRIST SAVES US, regardless of how we FEEL, THINK, or LOOK! We must become one in the spirit. We can become this when we WALK AND TALK, and move in the realm of the Holy Spirit, here are some examples of this:

Talking to God in prayer and allowing God to talk to us through His word and perhaps prophetic utterance. Forgiving others, as God through Jesus has forgiven us.

Not allowing any form of RESENTMENT to come into our hearts, but being pure in heart, loving one another.

Not worrying what other people might think about us, because whatever we do, there will always be people that judge us.

Always remember:

"...Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV). Never let Satan make you feel discouraged, he is a liar and the father of all lies. If you have accepted Jesus into your heart, and life, then you belong to Him; never listen to the thoughts of Satan. Stand your ground, put on the whole armour of God. In the name of Jesus, tell him he is a liar, and that you are a child of God walking by FAITH not sight! To quote a very good saying, "FAITH ISN'T FAITH UNTIL IT IS ALL YOU ARE HOLDING ON TO!"
