Billy, Sue, Joyce and Peter, decided to have a day at the seaside.

They arrived by train nice and early in the morning. "I am feeling hungry" said, Peter. "So am I, but let's go down to the sea first" said Sue. Billy and Joyce started to run. The sea looked lovely, children were making sand castles, and playing ball games. The sea was splashing against the sea wall, it was lovely to behold. "Isn't it GREAT?", they all said at once. As far as the eye could see there were small shops, selling all manner of things! They looked so colourful with the sun shining on them. "Lets go and have something to eat, there is a restaurant over there with a red and yellow umbrella, and the table is right near the sea" said Peter. So off they all went, with the sea breeze blowing gently in their faces.

After they had had their meal, they started to walk along, looking in all the shops. Sue and Joyce bought some souvenirs for their parents and friends. Peter bought them a large candyfloss each! Soon they came to the amusements and the pier, which had a train on it "Lets go for a train ride on the pier" said, Billy. They all agreed! What fun it was, as the train rattled along the wooden pier.

As time went by, they walked along the sand and stopped to listen to the sea lapping quietly against the wall. This reminds me how important it is to STOP AND LISTEN to the often quiet voice of JESUS, as He leads us, and guides us in our daily life! JESUS said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." St John 10:27-29 "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" Romans 8:14.

Stop and listen my dear friends, to The Voice Of God!
